Book a consultation
Every family starts the same way: a short, one-on-one call with our team. We learn about your student, answer your questions about the World Schools format, and recommend the right place to start. It is free.
- 01
Tell us about your student
Their experience with debate, their goals, and the kind of schedule that fits your family.
- 02
We map the format to them
We explain how World Schools works and which program matches your student’s stage, whether that is Foundation, the Competition Team, or private coaching.
- 03
You get a clear recommendation
A specific place to start and the next step to take. There is no pressure to decide on the call.
Who it is for
Students new to debate or already competing, roughly ages 11 to 18. Exploring options for a school team? We can talk through that too.
What we will ask you
Nothing you need to prepare for. The call goes faster if you already know roughly where your student sits on these, but a shrug is a fine answer to any of them.
- How much debate they have done, and in which format. Public Forum, Lincoln-Douglas, Congress, Model UN, and school-club debate all transfer differently.
- Whether they want to compete, or want the skill without the tournament calendar. Both are legitimate; they lead to different programs.
- What their week already looks like. A student with three other commitments should not start on a year-round squad.
- Whether a coach or teacher is already working with them, so we do not contradict what they are being taught.
What you will leave with
One named program, the reason it is that one and not the rung above or below, and the term dates and price in writing. If the honest answer is that none of our programs fit yet, we will say so and point you at the free material instead. We would rather place a student correctly a year from now than badly this month.
The call runs about twenty minutes and there is no second call designed to close you. Everything we quote is on the programs page already.
