The 41st Stanford Invitational runs online over Presidents Day weekend with Novice and TOC World Schools divisions and a quarterfinals bid.
The 41st Stanford Invitational is an online national tournament over Presidents Day weekend, 6 to 8 February 2027, with Novice and TOC World Schools divisions and a quarterfinals TOC bid. Stanford confirmed the online format for 2027 on Tabroom; the full invitation follows in late October.
Rounds run on US Pacific time. The organiser's fee is USD 125 per team with a cap of four entries per school in each division. Registration opens on 1 October and closes on 23 January by our house rule.

Preparing for the tournament
Students entering their first judged rounds usually get the most out of a short run of coached practice first. The Foundation class covers the format from scratch, the Competition Team trains year-round, and the motion bank has thousands of real motions to practise on.
